Pairing for the first time to use
1. Download the latest version of Huawei Health app .
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
3.Press and hold the * crown (side button) to start up, and make sure that the * shows the pairing interface (the interface showing HONOR *-xxx).
4. Open the Huawei Health app - add devices and pay attention to selecting the correct Bluetooth name of the *.
Note:
* During the pairing process,the pairing confirmation information pop up by the * and Huawei Health app, please pay attention to confirm in time;
* Huawei Health app must be sure to open the location permission, when pairing watches in the Huawei Health app, if you are prompted to obtain mobile phone location permission, please authorize and agree.Some mobile phones cannot pop up prompts due to compatibility problems. Please consult the customer service of mobile phone brands to open the unknown permission of Health app in the mobile phone system.
* When the * is turned on for the first time, the Bluetooth name of the * is displayed below the two-dimensional code on the screen. It will be used in the pairing process,please not to check.
Connection failure when connecting my wearable to another phone:
To resolve this issue, perform the following:
1. Disable Bluetooth on your phone and enable it again. Connect both devices again and check if this issue persists.
2. Check whether your wearable is connected to other devices. If this is the case, disconnect them and connect your wearable to your phone again.
● Ways to unpair the *
Android users: Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and then your device name. Touch UNPAIR.
iOS users: Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices in the bottom-right corner, swipe left on the device icon you want to delete and touch Delete. Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your phone, touch the exclamation icon next to the Bluetooth name of the paired device, and touch to forget this device.
Reset your HONOR smart *:
Disclaimer: Performing reset on the HONOR MagicWatch 2 deletes all the data, please exercise caution before confirming.
1- Unpair the * from your phone.
Navigate to and open Settings on your phone, and then tap Bluetooth. From the "Paired devices" list, tap the Settings (gear) icon next to your * name, and then tap Unpair.
2-Navigate to Settings on your *.
At the very start, press the Top right button to wake up the screen. Then press the Top right button again to open the menu.Next, scroll down and tap the Settings.Now tap the System.Then scroll down and tap on the Reset.Next, tap the Checkmark to confirm and start the reset.
If you want to reset the MagicWatch 2 from a linked mobile phone follow the next steps.
First step:
Open the Huawei Health app on your smartphone.
Second step:
Touch ‘Devices’ and select the device name(HONOR MagicWatch 2).
Third step:
Select Restore factory settings.
3-Reconnect your *.
Once you reset your *, you will need to reconnect it to the Huawei Health app. After the connection is complete, you can check for software updates.
