HONOR X8 and HONOR X7 with Snapdragon 680 and large display debut in Italy

HONOR has announced the arrival in Italy of its new HONOR X8 and HONOR X7 smartphones.

The HONOR X8 smartphone in a 163.4x74.7x7.45mm body that weighs about 177 grams houses a 6.7-inch diagonal 16.7 million color display with FHD resolution (1080x2388 pixels) and panel refresh rate of 90Hz . The phone's screen-to-body ratio is 93.6%.

HONOR X8, powered by a 4000mAh battery that supports 22.5W Honor SuperCharge fast charging, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core chipset (6nm; 4x Cortex-A73 at 2.4GHz + 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.9GHz) supported by 6GB of RAM, while the storage amounts to 128GB.

The photographic sector of HONOR X8 offers, on the back, a quad-camera with 64 MP main sensor (F1.8) together with a 5MP sensor (F2.2), a depth sensor (F2.4) and a sensor by macro (F2.4); on the front there is a 16MP camera. HONOR X8's connectivity comes complete with support for 4g networks, WiFi 5 (ac), bluetooth, NFC, USB-C and GPS. At its market debut, the HONOR X8 runs out-of-the-box the Android 11 operating system with Magic UI 4.2.

We have less information about HONOR X7 for the moment, but we know that it features a 6.74-inch display with notch and panel refresh rate of 90Hz, as well as a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, a rear quad-camera with main lens 48MP, 5000mAh battery with up to 20 hours of music playback and up to 49 hours of 4G calls, 22.5W Honor SuperCharge fast charge, 128GB internal memory.
