The first smartphone from Honor will be the V40 model with Google services after the separation from Huawei. Mobiltelefon reported this, citing its own sources.

After the lifting of US sanctions, the company's first smartphone will be the Honor V40. There will be a bundle of Google services and software available on the device out of the box. Journalists conclude that this is precisely the explanation for the postponement from December to January of the launch of the flagship.

The smartphone will be announced in China on January 22, as is evident from the disclosed details. The global presentation of the product will take place later, with the gadget scheduled to appear in European sales in the spring.

Sources have disclosed that with a 120-hertz refresh rate, the Honor V40 would have a 6.72-inch AMOLED screen. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor. A triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main lens will be on the back of the smartphone, and a dual selfie camera with a resolution of 32 and 16 megapixels will be on the front.
