Unable to switch SIM cards before making a phone call
| Unable to switch SIM cards before making a phone call |
When dialing a number, the user cannot switch between SIM 1 and SIM 2. In this case, the default dialing app may be set to a third-party app, or Default calling SIM may be specified. Perform the following to troubleshoot the issue:
Check whether there are signals of two carriers in the status bar on the phone.
If your phone does not display the signal of two carriers, it is possible that only one of your two SIM cards is identified. In this case, remove and then insert the SIM cards.
Do not specify the default calling SIM.
Open Settings, search for and access Dual card management/SIM card management, and set Default calling SIM to Not set.
In Android 9.0 and later versions, the message "SIM 1/SIM 2 is in a call" will not be displayed during a call.
