The Honor 70 series was presented in China on May 30, 2022, we now know a little more about the screens on it.
Visionox took advantage of the launch to confirm that they fitted the Honor 70s.
These are flexible Amoled screens with four innovative features:
First: The first series production of the new VM6 material system
The Honor 70 series uses Visionox's new VM6 material system for the first time.Based on 1000nit high maximum brightness, the overall power consumption is reduced by about 20% compared to the generation material former.
The material system also achieves a smoother visual experience such as lag-free at a high 120Hz refresh rate by cooperating with an intelligent tuning algorithm.
Second: improved arrangement of pixels in the form of a tripod
Visionox had, at a technology innovation conference, presented a tripod-shaped pixel arrangement with a "double-row tripod" design.
A sharper and more detailed display.
Third: Aesthetic design
The 6.78-inch AMOLED display of Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro+ has achieved a fully symmetrical four-curve design and passed HDR Vivid World Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance certification, with 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 120Hz screen refresh rate and 1.07 billion color display.
Fourth: optical performance
In addition to achieving 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, the Honor 70 series also manages the color drift path (0°~60°) in the second and third quadrants of the CIE-P3 color coordinates. 1976, with smooth curve transition and 3D bending visual area display, good color consistency from different viewing angles; at the same time, Visionox can also customize the color alignment curve management according to customer requirements to meet various needs.
