[Tutorial] HONOR Band 6 Pair with Various Phones
The very first step to unveil the various features of smart watches and smart bands, is to pair that with a smartphone. HONOR Band 6 is no exception. In this tutorial, let’s take a quick look and see how to get the HONOR Band 6 paired with Android or iOS smartphones.
HONOR Band 6 is a new fitness tracker, though looks quite like the former HONOR * ES. It is compatible with Android 4.4 and above, iOS 9.0 and above smartphones. So make sure you use a compatible before starting the pair process.
Step one: Check the software version
Go to settings > About Phone, to find the software version and make sure the smartphone is compatible with the HONOR Band 6, namely, Android 4.4 and above, or iOS 9.0 and above.
Step two: Install the HUAWEI health app on your smartphone
If you use a HUAWEI or HONOR smartphone, go to AppGallery and search for the Huawei Health App.
Download and install that on your phone.
Step Three: Initiating the Pair process on the phone from the Huawei Health App
Open the Huawei Health app on your phone. Go to the “Devices” tab then click “add” and select “Smart bands” on the next page to find HONOR Band 6.
After that press “PAIR” on the screen. A note will then pop up if the phone is connected to an HONOR * or fitness bands already, telling you that pairing with another device will terminate the current connection.
Then the phone will start to search for the Bluetooth signal around. In the search result list, find the mac address of your HONOR Band 6 and hit that one.
Step Four: confirm the pairing process on the HONOR Band 6
On the screen of your HONOR Band 6, a pairing request will pop up. Hit “ok” or “confirm” on the screen.
Then the HONOR band 6 is paired with the smartphone.
