Travel within large (and not so large) cities has changed radically in recent years, especially towards electric mobility with scooters or bicycles. That is why it is not strange to see how more and more companies are betting on this type of vehicle.
The latest addition was Honor, which on Monday presented its HONOR Choice P10 in China
Honor Choice P10 arrives with 35 kilometers of autonomy, 16 kilos of weight and 25 km / h
Electric scooters have become a guarantee business for technology companies, which is why more and more companies are taking advantage of their advantages, trying to offer us the best at an affordable price. The latest to do so was Honor, the mobile phone company, which just launched the Honor Choice P10 in China.
Its intention is to reach all types of audiences, from the youngest to the oldest, by offering a product that adapts to all types of needs. To do this, the Choice P10 features a 720 watt motor capable of delivering a top speed of 25km / h, the highest speed a vehicle of this type can achieve in Europe.
Its engine design is minimalist and is located in the rear wheel. Thanks to it, the user will be able to climb slopes with a slope of 18% with passengers weighing up to 100 kilograms. To power the engine, it has a 350 W lithium-ion battery capable of providing a range of up to 35 kilometers in eco mode.
Externally it has a frame made of aluminum that gives lightness to the whole, weighing only 15.7 kilos. Next to the frame we find 10-inch wheels, which offer a guaranteed ground clearance to avoid curbs without major problems.
There are also double mechanically operated brakes on the front wheel and the electronic one at the rear with energy recovery, a suspension provided by a spring or LED lights that allow us to illuminate our paths. And all, integrated inside the frame so that the cables are not seen.
To protect your battery, it has a BMS system that helps you in charging sessions and with IP55 specifications, so you won't have to worry about water or dust when driving with it. In terms of electronic equipment, in addition to LED lights, this new device has an electronic manager with cruise control support, three driving modes, connectivity with mobile apps and a small display with basic driving information.
At the moment it is only available in China with two basic colors, black and white, with a retail price of 2,299 yuan, about 331 euros at the current exchange rate. However, the pre-sale introductory offer lowers that price to 1,999 yuan, just 288 euros. We don't know if the tech company will land its electric scooter outside of China.
