Hey there HONOR Fans ? 

Last week new HONOR devices were announced and launched to the Arabic market and very soon they are coming globally too. 

Those devices are the global variants, some with a bit different specs, of the HONOR phones launched at the Q4 of 2021 in China. And so, wich are these new devices? They will be a new X series, a line of mid-range and budget phones, the X7, X8 and X9 (from the most lite to the top of the series). 

Let's check them out! 

HONOR X7 
The HONOR X7 would be the lite of the series. It's a global variant of the Chinese HONOR Play 30 [on the image ubove]. 

Check the specs of HONOR Play 30, that will be very similar to the HONOR X7. 
The HONOR Play 30 Plus 5G (CMA-AN00) is an entry-level 5G smartphone for the masses. But it looks like the expensive HONOR branded handsets due to the presence of two large circular modules for the cameras.

The device sports a 6.74-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+), 16.7 million colors, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The TÜV Rheinland-certified (for low blue emission) display has a dewdrop notch and a 90.07% screen-to-body ratio.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. As for software, it boots Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11.

Further, the phone houses a dual-camera setup on the back comprising of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it uses a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou). It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a MicroSD card ****.
The device comes with all the essential sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 167.59 × 77.19 × 8.62mm in dimensions, weighs 198g, and arrives in four colors (black, silver, blue, gold).

Last but not least,  HONOR Play 30 Plus 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.

HONOR X8 
The HONOR X8 is a variant of the Chinese HONOR X30i, it has some differences of it tho, as the X8 comes with quad-camera system with 6 MP and the HONOR X30i [ on the image down here] has a 3 one with 48mp. 

Check the specs of the HONOR X30i here, and remember the HONOR X8 will look a lot like it but with some better specs, and of course, Google mobile services! HONOR X30i was officially announced on Oct. 28, 2021.


The camera on the rear side consists of a triple camera that includes 48 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) and on the front, there is 8 MP (wide). The device dimension is 163.4 x 74.7 x 7.5 mm and it weighs 175 grams.

The smartphone is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery + Fast charging 22.5W. The sensors include Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, and compass. The display comes with a 6.7 inches IPS LCD and 1080 x 2388 pixels resolution.

The phone runs on Android 11 + Magic UI 5.0, no Google Play Services [Chinese, the global vsrisnt, the HONOR X8 has GMS]. Honor X30i comes in different colors like Black, Blue, Silver, and Rose Gold. The smartphone is packed with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage options.

The device is built with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor. 

This, the HONOR X8 is the first of the new X-series phone to be launched and the device was announced for the MEA region and will arrive to more regions including Europe and Africa soon.
There the specs were revealed so you can see that it is very like the X30i, but better. 
It brings midrange specs including a 6.7-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 chipset and a 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. HONOR X8 also brings a 64MP main cam on its back, next to a 5MP ultrawide and two 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth data. 
The 16MP selfie cam is housed in a punch hole cutout below the earpiece. The 4G Snapdragon 690 is joined by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The software side is covered by HONOR’s Magic UI 4.2 which sits atop Android 11.
HONOR X8 comes in Titanium Silver, Midnight Black and Ocean Blue colors. 

HONOR X9
The HONOR X9 is the global release of the Chinese version HONOR X30 [on the image above]. HONOR X30 was officially announced on Dec. 16, 2021.


The device is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 4800 mAh battery + Fast charging 66W, 80% in 30 min (advertised). The sensors include Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The display comes with a 6.81 inches IPS LCD and 1080 x 2388 pixels resolution. The camera on the rear side consists of a triple camera that includes 48 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) and on the front, there is 16 MP.

The device dimension is 166.1 x 75.8 x 8.1 mm and it weighs 189 grams. The phone runs on Android 11 + Magic UI 5.0, no Google Play Services. Honor X30 comes in different colors like Black, Blue, Silver, and Gold.

The design of the HONOR X9 make it seems it is a little cousin of the HONOR Magic 4 or 3 series because of the design of the circular camera setup on the back! Very stylish.

The smartphone is packed with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage options. The device is powered by Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G processor while GPU is Adreno 619.

So, these amazing phones were finnaly anouced outside China and they are coming very soon to Europe and other regions. We all were waiting for the moment for HONOR bringing back budget and mid-range phones to global markets right? And they're here because HONOR CAN!
