HONOR Magic 3 is the first phone to get this powerful new feature

The company HONOR is now preparing to announce the flagship HONOR Magic 3 series, which should bring some surprises. One of them is Micron’s UFS 3.1 flash drive. This is an improved version of high-performance flash memory and the Honor Magic 3 will be the first device to receive it.

UFS 3.1 memory features that come with HONOR Magic 3:

The 176-layer UFS 3.1 memory delivers 75% faster sequential write speeds and 70% faster random reads than its predecessor. The microcircuit's advantages also include a high download speed of 1500MB/s and can download a 10-minute 4K video in just 0.7 seconds (provided the file size is 1GB) and 2 hours of a 4K movie in 9.6 seconds.

Micron's UFS 3.1 promises a smoother Honor Magic 3 mobile experience with a 10% reduction in latency compared to the previous generation of flash memory. It also stores twice as many shared files in a compressed size. The all-inclusive series has 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB drives.

On the other hand, the test result on Geekbench indicates that the Honor Magic 3 managed to score 3806 points in the multi-core test and 1215 in the single-core test. As a result, it outperformed the Black Shark 4 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which are based on the Snapdragon 888 processor, by 100 points.

The HONOR Magic 3 series premiere is scheduled for August 12 and it is known that the base model will offer a 6.76-inch BOE AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and 8/12 GB of RAM. Flash drive with storage options 128/256/512GB, 4500mAh battery, 66W fast charging. The smartphone will be running Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 and will support Google services.
