If you are a HONOR/Huawei User, with a Huawei ID logged in to your HONOR/Huawei Smartphone, you might have heard about Huawei Mobile Cloud. However if you don't know about what benefits you can acquire by using Huawei Mobile Cloud Services, keep reading to know more...!

We will start with the most basic question about Huawei Mobile Cloud and I will also explain how you can enable it:

Question # 1. What is Huawei Mobile Cloud?

Ans: HUAWEI Mobile Cloud is a service provided by Huawei to back up your data to a secure cloud.

Question # 2. Why should you Backup your Personal Data to Huawei Mobile Cloud?

Ans: Backing up your Personal Data to Huawei Mobile Cloud ensures that your data remains safe even when you lost your Smartphone or it stops working

Question # 3. How will you be able to access your Personal Data in case your lost or damage your Smartphone?

Ans: In case if you lost your Smartphone but you have backed up your Data with Huawei Mobile Cloud Services, you simply need to visit the following URL: https://cloud.huawei.com/

Just sign-in using your Huawei ID and you can access all your personal data which has been backed up on Huawei Mobile Cloud.

Question # 4. Can anyone else access your Data of Huawei Mobile Cloud?

Ans: No, your data on Cloud is encrypted and not even Huawei can access your Data. Your data can only be accessed using your Huawei ID & password.

Questions # 5. How to Transfer your Huawei Mobile Cloud Data to other HONOR/Huawei Device?

Ans: It's very simple, all you need to do is to sign-in with your Huawei ID, that you have been using with your old Huawei Smartphone and enable the Cloud Data Synchronization.

To do this simply go to

Settings -> Huawei ID -> Cloud -> Enable the "Data Sync" (for all the Services you want)

Question # 6 How much Data I can store with Huawei ID? Is it Free or do I have to pay for using Huawei Mobile Cloud Storage?

Ans: Huawei Mobile Cloud service let's you store 5 GB of Data for Free but if you want to store more data, you simply need to subscribe to one of the Cloud Storage Packages according to your needs.

You have three different packages of

i) 50 GB

ii) 200 GB

iii) 2048 GB

You can opt for a Monthly, 3 Months or Yearly Subscription

Question # 7: What happens if I am using same Huawei ID on 2 different Smartphones?

Ans: In that case, you will be asked if you want to merge the data with the data stored on your Cloud? You can also disable the Data Sync on one of your devices, otherwise the data of both devices will merge on the cloud. Although my advise is to use separate Huawei ID if you have 2 or more devices.

Question # 8: Can I also sync the Data of my Apps on Huawei Mobile Cloud?

Ans: Yes, you can sync the data of Huawei Apps on your Huawei Mobile Cloud, so that if you buy a new Huawei Smartphone, you may easily sync your previous data.
