Huawei continues to develop its own mobile services and after the announcement of Meetime and Huawei Mail , the brand announces the launch of Huawei Docs .

Still under US sanctions preventing it from integrating Google services into its smartphones, Huawei is developing its own alternatives.

We saw the brand announce the launch of Petal Search for the search engine, Meetime for videoconferences, Huawei Mail for email messaging, Petal Maps for the GPS service ... It's the turn of Google Docs to do the work. object of an adaptation to the house sauce.

The Huawei Docs will be directly integrated into EMUI 11 which is already embedded in the Mate 40 and which will soon be deployed on a series of smartphones of the brand listed here.

We spoke about it during our experience feedback with the HONOR 9X Pro after several months of use: Huawei still lacks certain services allowing to offer total convergence like what Google offers. The brand is well aware of this and is therefore deploying a Google Docs clone which offers a PDF editor, presentation software and an Excel-type spreadsheet.

Huawei already indicates that its service can read and edit more than 50 document formats ... which therefore makes it an alternative to Google Docs or Microsoft Office. The advantage of the system is to be able to synchronize its files with Huawei Drive , then to find them directly in Huawei Mail to share them ... Access is facilitated by the synchronization and the use of a Huawei identifier, as we are log into their Google account to take advantage of all the brand's services ...

Finally, Huawei's home environment is being built little by little and could well succeed in its bet to replace Google. During our test, we expressed an opinion in favor of Huawei, the next test of the Mate 40 could therefore really finish convincing us ...
