HONOR X8: only 7.45 mm thick for maximum lightness and portability
The latest arrived to the HONOR house is part of the new series that the Chinese company presented a few days ago: refined, modern and extra-thin design and has all the credentials to be considered among the most interesting smartphones on the market
HONOR X8: the mid-range smartphone of the moment
The latest generation smartphones have almost all dimensions and weights that often do not allow the comfortable portability for which they were conceived a few years ago. The exaggeratedly large screens, the increasingly resistant materials and also the need for an ever larger battery have led to devices so heavy as to even approach 250 grams, making them bulky. HONOR has decided to look at this aspect and the new, HONOR X8, makes thickness and lightness two of the main features that catch the eye (and hand) making it one of the most interesting mid-range smartphones of the moment.
HONOR X8: extremely thin, extremely powerful
The new HONOR X8 comes with a modern design and in step with the times, capable of embodying in no uncertain terms what today should be a small footprint smartphone. Yes, because the engineers have seen fit to propose it with a thickness of only 7.45mm and a weight of 177 grams, making it not only handy but above all capable of making it forget in your pocket or bag. Moreover, the square frames, the robust body and the triple color scheme (Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver) make it satisfying even to the eye.
On a technical level there is an excellent display called FullView with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and with an extreme screen / body ratio since we are talking about a value equal to 93.6%. This means having frames reduced to the bone and capable of guaranteeing greater user immersion when viewing multimedia content. Content that can be enjoyed at the highest quality thanks to the presence of a display refresh rate of 90Hz which will guarantee fluidity even during any gaming sessions.
The processor instead is a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. Basically it is a powerful Octa-Core that can go up to 2.4GHz thanks to the presence of an Adreno 610 GPU. There is no lack of an important amount of memory since HONOR X8 will guarantee important performance thanks to 6GB of RAM and will allow users archiving of videos and photos thanks to 128GB of internal memory. And not to forget the RAM Turbo technology, introduced by HONOR, which ensures users the simultaneous opening of multiple applications without compromising efficiency and guaranteeing an even more fluid and performing experience.
If this were not enough, HONOR X8 also lends itself willingly as a multimedia tool with a quadruple rear camera of which the most performing sensor is 64 Megapixel and capable of excellent shots in multiple situations. Followed by a 5 Megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2 Megapixel macro sensor and a classic 2 Megapixel depth lens capable of applying the now indispensable Bokeh effect for the blur. And for the youngest, who increasingly rely on selfies, let's not forget the excellent 16 Megapixel front camera.
Finally, when it comes to smartphones, autonomy cannot be overlooked. HONOR X8 has a 4,000mAh battery which, although small, also given the thickness, sees the presence of a fast charging from 22.5W thanks to HONOR SuperCharge and this guarantees the user never to remain on foot even for those who are more 'geek. '. Moreover, to curb consumption, the operating system that sees here the Magic UI 4.2, based on Android 11 clearly with Google services included and with Android 12 on the way, takes care of it.
