From the preview of the brand new HONOR *, I was intrigued and, today I wanted to try the "Route Back" feature.
To do this, I ventured - so to speak - on an unpaved path just outside the city center. A very soft workout of a couple of kilometers just outside the city center, just to test its veracity.
If I can give some advice, venturing into the mountains, the weather changes are sudden, having an extraordinary function available, it is better to activate it (by default it is deactivated). I'm talking about the "Severe Weather Warning" feature. To activate it, go to the button at the top, scroll down to ----- Barometer ------ Settings at the bottom ---- flag on active. In practice, when the * detects a pressure drop greater than 4 hPa in the 3 hour interval - settable data - it warns that the weather will get worse and we should take cover or return to base.
I start "walking outdoors" the GPS signal takes less than two seconds to lock onto the satellite.
Scrolling down the device shows the steps
the altitude
heart beat
About half way through I check the subject function of the post. Two swipes to the left (in the first swipe he shows us the music)
below there is also an option to get to the base faster by making a straight line - path permitting -
It is possible to zoom + or - the way back and show us the remaining distance.
What do you say I managed to get back safe and sound?
Does the function deliver on its promise?
