HONOR returns to the wearables market by offering a sporty yet elegant *: HONOR * GS 3 marks the continuity with its predecessors MagicWatch 2 46mm and * GS PRO from which it inherits forms and functions.

Presented for the global market at the MWC in Barcelona 2022, during which it received 2 awards as Best of MWC for Global Top Media, we saw and touched it first at the Florence stage of the HONOR Magic Tour and then at the presentation launch of HONOR Magic 4 Pro in Milan.

HONOR * GS 3: specification overview

HONOR * GS 3 has an elegant design in each of its variants: Ocean Blue, Classic Gold and Midnight Balck (which you see in the video). Thin only 10.5mm and weighing 44g, it has equipped with a 1.43” 3D curved AMOLED screen with a resolution of 326PPI.

The monitoring of biological functions (sleep, stress, heart rate, SpO2 24/7, steps) is entrusted to an 8-channel sensor and a dual engine AI algorithm.

Extreme precision also for the GPS signal, with a dual-band GNSS chip that allows us to quickly detect the position as soon as we start a workout.

As on previous watches, the HONOR * GS 3 also supports over 100 training modes, with 10 professional sports carefully monitored.

The battery allows you to have a long life, as usually on HONOR watches: up to 14 days with average use and up to 30 hours using the GPS at maximum power. It will be my concern to verify in the coming weeks the potential of the battery that has no equal among the competitors.

To complete the package of functions, the speaker and microphone for answering calls and playing music.

In addition, compared to the * GS PRO, a couple of small functions that I appreciated but which I will talk about later.
