HONOR presented the new interface of its operating system
It's called MagicUI 6, it's based on Android 12 and it uses artificial intelligence to learn and predict your habits
HONOR, during the launch event of HONOR Magic V on Monday 10 January 2022, spent a good part of the presentation talking about the new version of MagicUI, which goes beyond a simple customization of the operating system. I admit, some passages for me have been difficult to interpret and also difficult to apply to my daily life.
But let's go in order and see what innovations it has introduced. MagicUI 6 is a new update that began with the development of Magic Live in 2016. Magic UI 6 is an intelligent system with basic functionality such as active location service, custom operating system and collaboration between devices.
It also provides a full range of real-time functions for business people: for example, if you are near the subway station, the Magic Live feature will recommend the appropriate code for your means of transport; near the parcel delivery/collection locker, it will recommend the unlock and collection code.
MagicUI 6 is based on the leading high-precision geo-fencing technology and can also get the most timely and accurate scenario prediction services in all. The geo-fencing technology involves the use of devices capable of determining one's own position (location-aware) such as smartphones, used as terminals of a location-based service: when the user enters or exits a geo-fence, the device or the service manager receive a notification, which can be used to control pre-established actions.
The new MagicUI 6 offers intelligent multi-device collaboration and interconnection of all scenarios. In terms of collaboration between devices, the HONOR Connect protocol has the characteristics of minimalist protocol and intelligent scheduling with low latency and high throughput.
The first device to mount MagicUI 6 is HONOR MagicV: as seen in these photos below, the multi-devices collaboration between Android-based smartphones and a laptop with Windows is complete.
