It is designed for working and gaming, with highly efficient connections
The ports and networks of the HONOR MagicBook 16 are an added value to its design
The ports
HONOR MagicBook 16 is the new HONOR laptop designed for mobile work, home speed gaming or, more generally, for common office/school use.
To support its power and autonomy there is no shortage ports positioned discreetly on the side of the aluminum body of the HONOR MagicBook 16.
In the upper part of the left side of the HONOR MagicBook 16 there are 2 USB type-C 3.2 ports and an HDMI 2.0 port to connect it to a monitor or TV. Charging also takes place through USB type-C, in fact there is also a small white LED that flashes when charging while it is fixed when the battery is full.
On the right side of the HONOR MagicBook 16 there are the two USB type-A 3.2 sockets and the 3.5mm 2 in 1 Jack for headphones and microphone.
There is no SD, microSD or CF card ****, and the LAN port is missing. It will therefore have to be remedied with an adapter via the USB port. It also lacks a VGA port and DisplayPort which nowadays I find useless and anachronistic in any case.
There is no anti-theft system such as the Kensington type.
The networks
HONOR MagicBook 16 is equipped with a network card with Wi-Fi 6 thanks to a double 2X2 MIMO antenna with double 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz band and 160 MHz bandwidth support. This allows fast access to the Internet to work or play. Used together with a smartphone with a Wi-Fi 6, it optimizes the functionality of Multi-Screen Collaboration.
Through a NFC authentication between smartphone and laptop, and the combination of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, you can quickly and easily share files between one device and another.
The webcam
HONOR MagicBook 16 is equipped with a webcam placed on the upper frame of the display. It is a very small, almost hidden lens with a modest ** HD sensor. Nowadays it might seem really low resolution, but in a moment in which hours and hours of video calling are carried out, the choice not to tire the net (also to the advantage of the other interlocutors) seems sensible. After all, you don't go shooting with a webcam, or at least I don't see the need for it.
Unlike the previous 14 and 15 inch HONOR MagicBook models, it is not a popup camera. Privacy is however guaranteed with a small light that turns on when the front camera is used.
The sensors
Another sensor is the fingerprint sensor on the power key.
Hidden in the upper part of the right case of HONOR MagicBook 16, in a discreet way, it allows you to turn on and access the PC without having to type in passwords.
In addition, to accompany the whole, remember that the keyboard is backlit in the shade of blue.
