Let's do some speed testing with HONOR Magic4 Pro

Fourth answer episode of the series "HONOR Magic4 Pro: Ask me Anything": I try to answer @Mary87  who asked me how HONOR Magic4 Pro behaves in reception. I did a bit of speed test with two sims of two operators who became two different locations: let's see then what data connection speed we have achieved with HONOR Magic4 Pro.

I performed several speed tests with SIM Iliad and Wind3 (different type of subscription) with HONOR Magic4 Pro, HONOR 9X and HONOR 50.

The SIM Iliad was more performing than the SIM Wind3.

The values obtained between HONOR 9X and HONOR Magic4 Pro with SIM Wind3 indoors are comparable.

SIM Iliad outdoors on HONOR 50:

Download 27.84Mps - ping 82ms

SIM Wind3 outdoors on HONOR 50:

Download 40.81Mbps - ping 40ms

The values obtained between HONOR 50 and HONOR Magic4 Pro with SIM Iliad are not comparable.

Conclusions

Probably the tests I have done are not enough, both in terms of repetitions and variability, to demonstrate the goodness of the reception of HONOR Magic4 Pro. In daily use I have not encountered problems with receiving calls and during navigation, the voice has always been punctual and crystal clear to both me and the receiver, with no sonic glitches, echoes or delays. With data navigation in 4g + the use of chat, social and gaming did not give any problems. Through the WifI + HONOR Magic4 Pro function it automatically switches from data to WiFi without problems, precisely and on time.

HONOR is renowned for having extremely powerful reception antennas. I checked this thing in the middle of the Vallombrosa wood where, hidden by the repeaters, every now and then a signal notch appeared where other brands remained with "Emergency calls only".

I would like to point out two "problems". During my weekend in Austria, despite the 4g + network active and with signal, it happened that I did not have bandwidth: I believe that it was due to my Italian SIM that was trying to hook up the signal of a foreign operator. The other lightness concerns the icon of the activation / deactivation of the data network: the transition from blue (active) to gray (deactivated) is not immediate but there is a micro lag of one second; I would say that it is more a graphic problem than a functional one.

Overall, HONOR confirms itself as a leader in reception, managing even with HONOR Magic4 Pro to guarantee a stable signal in almost all situations, with precise calls in both directions and a powerful network for everyday use.

Remember that HONOR Magic4 Pro is equipped with AI Directional Sound technology with AI Privacy Calling, which offers volume reduction during a call based on the surrounding environment, with simultaneous and coordinated work between screen and speaker. While the screen transmits low and medium frequency sounds to bring a clearer communication experience, the receiver transmits high frequency sounds to avoid sound loss, ensuring that others cannot hear your conversation even if we are in a crowded environment but relatively quiet.
