Hello dear community! Today I would like to share with you my experiences of charging , wired and wireless of HONOR Magic4 Pro .
To charge the battery you get a USB C cable and a 100W charger. With it you can charge your Magic4 Pro super fast with 100W (50% in 15min) and you are prepared if you ever forget to charge. So you can go to the charging socket before a trip and have a good battery charge for on the go. I forget the store eg. more often and for me it's really a rescue, quickly charge for another 10 minutes while I'm getting ready and I still have enough percentage that I can still make ends meet for at least 2 hours :D
You need this charger with 135W > if you have bought/received the stand (2nd picture) for the cable-free charging. This is the only way you can fully exploit the 100W for wireless charging. If you use your supplied 100W charger, you can "only" charge with 80W via the stand, which of course is still fast!
Once you have connected your wireless charger, all you have to do is place the back of your HONOR Magic4 Pro against the white surface of the stand. Now the LED at the foot of the stand starts to glow white and your smartphone is being charged. It is displayed with how many watts is charged and what percentage is charged.
The display switches off again after a few seconds.
While your smartphone is being charged without a cable, the integrated fan of the wireless charger stand also switches on so that the heat that develops during fast charging is immediately removed again. This way your Magic4 Pro doesn't run the risk of getting hot. The fan turns off just before the end of the charging process (99%) and still charges up to 100%. You can then take your device off the charger. It's slightly warm afterwards, not hot, since the fan does a good job.
You can find information about battery life and charging under "Settings > Battery". There you can see approximately how long the battery will last, how long it will take to charge and various options for saving electricity or protecting the battery.
If you scroll further down, you will see information about battery consumption, so you can see which app used a lot of power at what time (shown in blue) and how long you charged the battery (shown in green). The battery is hardly used in standby mode, as you can see from the almost straight blue line in my picture, that was overnight.
Here you can see how quickly the HONOR Magic4 Pro was fully charged, namely in 30 minutes (green line)
My conclusion, I find the new 100W technology very practical, especially when you don't have much time, you still have a full battery with you quickly!
There is no annoying charging overnight, which is not healthy for the battery anyway, since you can quickly let it charge again before going to sleep.
The smartphone and the charger don't get hot either when charging with a cable or without a cable, it only gets slightly warm.
A certain amount of heat is normal at the charging speed.
What do you think of the new technology, especially the 100W wireless charging?
Would you get the wireless charging stand? Write it in the comments.
Thank you for reading !
