HONOR Band 6 Workout Modes Explained

The Honor Band 6 has 10 built-in sports modes: outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, indoor walking, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, elliptical machine, rowing machine, swimming pool, and free training. Among them, outdoor sports require you to connect to your mobile phone and use it with the help of mobile phone positioning; indoor sports do not need to obtain GPS signals, since there is no track, and you can directly start sports.

Start a single workout on the HONOR Band 6

1 Set before running:

Enter the function list through the side button on the HONOR Band 6, select the exercise function, then set goals and reminders in advance through the icons below the outdoor running.

2. Start exercise

Outdoor running/outdoor walking/outdoor cycling

It needs to be turned on in an open outdoor area. Make sure the HONOR Band 6 is properly connected to the Huawei Sports Health App, the GPS track of the phone can be obtained. When the positioning is successful, the upper icon stops flashing and lights up.

Use Tips:

Outdoor riding is only supported on Huawei/Honor mobile phones with EMU15.0 and above and Apple mobile phones with iOS9.0 and above. Other mobile phones do not display this exercise type.

The HONOR Band 6 and Huawei Sports Health App must be connected properly and outdoor riding can only be turned on in an open area.

Indoor running/indoor walking/indoor cycling/free training/Elliptical machine/rowing machine/pool swimming

GPS signal is not required to use these functions since there is no track. Just click the corresponding exercise to start the exercise directly.

3. during exercise

·Swipe up or down the screen of the bracelet to find exercise data view the sports data details.

·After indoor walking/indoor running, you can manually correct the distance.

4. after the exercise

Tap the button on the side of the HONOR Band 6 to pause the exercise. Tap the green icon or button to continue the exercise.

Tap the red icon to stop the exercise and view the exercise data. During exercise, long press the button on the side of the HONOR Band 6 to directly end the exercise.

The HONOR Band 6 will display the results of the current exercise. After syncing to the Huawei Sports Health App, you can view more detailed exercise data from the App itself.

Press the button on the side of the HONOR Band 6 to select the “exercise record”, and hit that to view the corresponding exercise record.

Use Tips

If the exercise distance is less than 100 meters, the exercise ends, and the exercise result will not be recorded on the HONOR Band 6 or the HUAWEI Health app.

When outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, and free training start less than 1 minute, the results will not be recorded.

Start a single workout on the app

Android phones support outdoor running, indoor running, fitness, walking, and cycling; iOS phones support outdoor running, outdoor walking, and outdoor cycling.

(If the exercise distance is too short, the result of this exercise will not be recorded.)

Link the HONOR Band 6 to the HUAWEI health app

When the HONOR Band 6 is connected to the Huawei Sports Health App, if you start running, walking, biking, etc. from the Huawei Sports Health App, the HONOR Band 6 will also display time, heart rate, pace, distance and other sports data synchronously. Also these exercises can be paused, continued or ended.

After the exercise, the Huawei Sports Health App will integrate exercise data to generate exercise records and display them in the Huawei Sports Health App.

After finishing a single exercise on the Huawei Sports Health App, the exercise results can be viewed in the Sports Health App for detailed exercise data, instead of the HONOR Band 6.

Automatic motion recognition

1. Movement automatic recognition and reminder

Set before running

When using this function, you need to make sure that the Settings>Exercise Settings>Automatically identify exercise status switch is turned on, and the exercise meets the posture and intensity requirements of the corresponding exercise type, and stays in the exercise state for a period of time (walking exercise is about 10min, running exercise is around 3min). The HONOR Band 6 will automatically recognize the type of exercise and remind you to start a single exercise.

After the reminder is triggered, the vibrating reminder interface lasts for 30 seconds. If you do not handle it, the reminder will disappear after 30 seconds. If you continue to exercise, the reminder will vibrate again after 3 minutes, and the exercise self-recognition will end if the reminder is not operated for three times.

Use Tips

When exercise is recognized and there is a reminder:

Click Ignore to end the automatic detection of this round of exercise. If you continue to exercise, the prompt will no longer be triggered. If you stop the exercise and the rest time exceeds 3 minutes, the next exercise self-recognition will not be detected again;

Click Do not remind today, then the exercise self-recognition function will no longer be triggered that day.

If you press turn off automatic recognition, and the switch for automatic recognition of exercise status will be turned off.

Automatic exercise recognition and exercise end recognition only support outdoor running, outdoor walking, indoor running, indoor walking, elliptical machine, rowing machine and other sports types.

Recognition and reminder when exercise ends

When your exercise intensity is lower than the exercise type intensity requirement for a period of time (3 minutes or more), the HONOR Band 6 will pop up an end prompt; press "Ignore", the prompt interface will disappear and return to the active interface.

If you do not deal with it, the interface will disappear after 30 seconds, with a prompt every 3 minutes (vibration + bright screen for 15 seconds), and the prompt interval from the fourth time to 10 minutes. After the screen is off, you can turn on the screen by pressing the side button, and the interface displayed on the screen is the interface for the motion stop prompt.

Use Tips

During the exercise end reminder period, exercise data statistics are still in progress (except during the pause);

After the detection prompt is triggered, if it enters a single movement, the movement data will be sliced with those data from self-recognition detection (such as distance, time, heat and other parameters).

The movement record will splice the data of the automatic detection phase and the data of the single start movement. The trajectory will only record the trajectory after the single movement is started, instead of the trajectory of the automatic detection phase;

The format of the exercise record is the same as that of a single exercise.
