I have summarized in a simple slide the main technical specifications of HONOR 70, HONOR's “mid-range” smartphone presented at IFA in Berlin on 2 September 2022, but with a character that makes the various top of the range tremble.

An identifying design in HONOR style that contains respectable hardware components that do not overlap with the HONOR Magic4 Pro flasghip but that gives a hard time to some top of the range of the competition. All perfectly optimized with MagicUI 6.1 based on Android 12, a light and functional operating system that does not exceed in risky customizations and is not so basic as to be considered stock.

HONOR 70: an analysis of some specifications

I tried to find strengths and weaknesses of some HONOR constructive choices, waiting to release my definitive video review on HONOR 70 (if the weather permits I would like to offer you something new).

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G processor

PRO: excellent compromise between power and consumption

CONS: only a slight improvement over the HONOR 50 predecessor

Screen AMOLED 6.67” 120Hz

PROS: large, bright, faithful colors

CONS: you must like the double curvature so extreme

PRO: perfect for digital creators and gamers, light and incredibly handy

CONS: you have to get used to it, especially in one-handed use

MagicUI operating system

PRO: fluid and intuitive, a guarantee for users, even for those who approach HONOR for the first time

CONS: lacks a distinctive character
