The hours of screen that are done with HONOR 70 are impressive
HONOR has found the perfect balance between power and autonomy
HONOR 50 had positively surprised me with its excellent mid-range range, it led perfectly to the evening and, if desired, gave me the opportunity to have two quiet days. The Magic4 Pro with all that power was able to not let you down in the middle of the day, beating all its competitors. This time it was HONOR 70's turn, read on how many hours of screen I did with the new HONOR smartphone.
HONOR 70 battery and charging
HONOR 70 inherits the MagicUI 6 user interface based on Android 12 from its predecessors HONOR 50 and HONOR Magic4 Pro. This allows you to have a simple, concrete user experience without unnecessary "energy losses". Software optimization is therefore flanked by hardware: Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G processor, 4800mAh lithium polymer battery, 66W fast charging capacity.
But the question you often ask us is: how long does the HONOR 70 battery last? Let's find out together in this post.
How I set up HONOR 70
The first days of using HONOR 70 I set all the parameters related to app permissions, secondary activations and background activities, type of notifications to be received, screen refresh rate, gestures and vibrations.
Below is a rough outline of how I set up HONOR 70 for my use:
• activation of the screen by lifting the smartphone, unlocking with fingerprint (2 fingers set);
• use of gestures and "haptic vibrations";
• manual setting of all apps for battery consumption;
• battery setting in default mode (no Energy saving or Performance mode);
• no AOD, no dark mode, automatic brightness, Intelligent Resolution and Dynamic Refresh Rate;
• always used with its TPU cover.
How long does a recharge of HONOR 70 last?
HONOR 70 I am using it as my primary smartphone, so with my personal sim and it always comes around with me: home, gym, work, trips, leisure ... calls and video calls, chats, social networks, photos and videos, listening web music...
In the first report below you will find a day of normal use between data, WiFi, chat, social, web browsing, a bit of Bluetooth, a few photos.
I passed the 5 hours of active screen on about 17 hours of activity, and still 42% of battery remaining:
In the second report below we see a stressful day: constantly on WiFi, lots of 4g + data, GPS, Bluetooth with 4 different devices connected (up to 3 at the same time), social, chat, navigation, calls and video calls, lots of listening online music.
More than 5 hours of active screen (but a lot of background work) on about 17 hours of activity, and still 36% remaining battery:
In the third report I experienced another kind of a stressful day: photo / video shooting, fixed data and WiFi, gps and bluetooth, as well as chat and social media, some video editing and backup on Google Photos.
After 6 hours of active screen, bringing the battery to touch 10% of remaining charge:
Is HONOR 70 a batteryphone?
We can decree that HONOR 70 is a batteryphone thanks to its perfect hardware and software optimization. Using it at full power, without any restrictions, HONOR 70 brings you amply to the end of the evening, whatever its use. By taking some energy saving measures, in case of emergency without a power bank or power outlets, it can also make two days of agile use.
Furthermore, I would like to remind you that HONOR 70 has never suffered from big or voluntary overheating, not even when I did almost an hour of timelapse or when I did over an hour of footage at a concert.
What do you think of this data? For those using HONOR 70 or HONOR 50, do you have very different results from mine? Let me know with a comment below.
