As soon as yesterday the notification of the Major update of HONOR 50 arrived I could not resist and I installed it immediately.
Let's say that it is my intention to create an active Post with the help of all users who have downloaded MAGIC UI 6 to see together the many novelties of the new interface based on Android 12. Obviously, I have not yet been able to discover them all so I will update based on the implementations.
I begin by saying that I did not make any prior backup, the file, even if very heavy (1.88 GB), downloaded in a few minutes, during the installation I even continued to use the phone, perhaps only the restart took a considerable time (mostly App optimizations), but nothing transcendental. It is highly recommended to have the cell with an adequate charge.
The first thing I noticed as soon as I turned it back on, was the display looked different, I didn't understand it was different ....
Going to tinker with the SETTINGS, specifically in those of the Display, you notice a different interface as regards the light / dark mode and, an additional setting for the setting of the dark mode, giving the possibility to darken the background when you are in this configuration.
The HONOR Ram Turbo is introduced, adding 2 or 4 GB of virtual memory (depending on the model of HONOR 50 6/128 or 8/256). This implementation should make the system smoother; for more info click HERE. For the moment I don't notice big improvements, it will be that the system from this point of view was already EXCELLENT.
For those looking for them, the HONOR THEMES arrive in a renewed graphic format
The virtual assistant YoYo is introduced, which is based on artificial intelligence; for the moment I have not activated it (I already find the Google assistant too intrusive ....
)
Now we have the emergency call that can be activated by pressing the power button 5 times, phone calls or messages should be sent to the emergency numbers set by us. Hopefully none of us ever need it.
Ability to view WA or TG messages or even sms in dual screen mode even while we are using the phone; I find this latter function very useful! We can decide the size of the window that opens on the basis of a submenu at the top. Furthermore, the App can be moved level and moved on the display, and finally trashed by dragging it down.
As a matter of privacy, the notification appears when the camera (front or rear?) Is working or it could be; the notification is also activated as soon as the cell is unlocked.
The HONOR Search function appears just swipe from just under half the screen from top to bottom and we can search for apps or files.
Introduced a side menu with the most used Apps; to view it just swipe from the right edge inwards and hold down.
Another small implementation: you are given the possibility to enlarge your own folders and

At the AUDIO level, I don't think there are any changes or improvements, but I still haven't had the opportunity to connect the Earbuds 2 Lite to the phone.
A small final note regarding the dual frequency WiFi connection; while before it stably kept the 5Ghz (which I prefer) as the last active connection, now it always reconnects to the 2.4 GHz I don't understand why.
For those who have received the update, have you noticed any other news?
For those who still have to get MAGIC UI 6.0, did I intrigue you?
