WHAT IS FAST CHARGING?
The expression "fast charging" is on the lips of all device manufacturers, from smartphones to laptops, from cables to chargers. But what does it really mean? The term "Fast Charging" is frequently used for the marketing of chargers and devices capable of charging faster than the current charging standard (5W). While there are several technologies that allow for these high charging speeds, there is still no standard terminology on this subject. In addition to this lack of compliance, it is good to know that although many manufacturers boast fast charging speeds for their products, the charging provided may simply be the standard 5W.
HOW FAST CHARGING WORKS

The basic elements of charging are amperage, voltage and watts. Amperage (or current) is the amount of electricity that flows from the battery to the phone or other connected device. Voltage is the speed or strength of the current. Watts are obtained by multiplying amperage and voltage. SO HOW DOES FAST CHARGING INCREASE SPEED?
Charging takes place in two stages. In the first stage, a higher voltage increases the charging speed. Fast recharging chargers use this step to increase power flow. As soon as the battery has received a large part of the charge, the charger reduces the voltage to prevent overheating or overcharging, thus ensuring the safety of your smartphone and charger.

Is fast charging dangerous?
Contrary to what one might think, the fast charging system is not dangerous. In reality the opposite is true.
