Finally, i got the first glimpse of Magic UI 6 , the next iteration of HONOR OS based on Android 12. I enrolled BETA for HONOR Magic 3 Pro+ and yesterday i got notification to install it.
After alot of failed installation, finally i reset and install the Magic UI 6 on my HONOR Magic 3 Pro+
HONOR Announced Magic UI back in January with tons of visual, performance and Architecture changes within its OS
Below is overall process of Installation method :
Change log : Huge Change log of Magic UI 6 is :
Interactive interface
[New desktop]
New large folder design, efficient interaction, one touch.
[App Cards]
Swipe up on the app icon with a horizontal line at the bottom to expand the smart card, which is more convenient to use.
[Dark Mode]
The "Sunrise and Sunset" mode is launched in the dark mode, and the dark mode automatically switches after it is turned on.
[Negative screen]
The negative screen has been changed from "Smart Assistant •Today" to "Honor Negative Screen". Welcome to experience the new design of the Honor Negative Screen.
Smart new experience [YOYO Suggestions • Card Collection] According to your study, work, life, business travel and other scenarios, provide thoughtful flight travel, subway ride code (see YOYO suggestions for cities that have been opened), calendar and other card reminders.
[YOYO Suggestions•App】Intelligently recommends apps according to your habits and scenarios, without cumbersome search, and apps for daily use are always available.
[Active translation] Active translation, one click, copy foreign language, take the initiative to quickly translate for you, currently supports English, Russian, Spanish and other 10 languages.
[Link Turbo X] realizes multi-network smart collaboration, automatically switches high-quality networks, and provides ultra-low latency to provide you with a better network experience. Privacy and Security
[Fuzzy Location] provides fuzzy location to apps that don't need precise location.
[Clipboard] If the content copied from the clipboard is not pasted beyond the default time of the system, it will be automatically cleared to protect your information security.
【Minimization of permissions】Manage permissions by classification, optimize the permission management interface, realize the minimum permissions of third-party applications to access personal data, and protect your personal information.
Finally Its here .. MAGIC UI 6
I loved the YoYo suggestions, where it checks overall activities of frequent apps and gives you suggestions as which next app you might need. its a Dynamic folders with tons of capabilities. and a Big change is in the Cards (which are actually redesigned Widgets section)

Overall : Its pretty fluid, tons of good features of inclusion like Cards, dynamic and BIG folders, YoYo Suggestions, visual changes, security improvement and alot more. Design element still looks same, though its a HUGE improvement over Magic UI 4 or 5
Issues (it is first BETA, hence these issues doesn't matter), though wanted to share :
1) Gspace is not working :(
2) Still No GMS or can't be installed
3) A big Laggy (not like other, but yeah a big of Lag here and there
4) Battery utilization is quite high
I am sure HONOR will fix these in upcoming weeks / builds and ready with a perfect build for users in coming months. In case you want to know anything specific, do let me know, in comment section
