Hi guys
A LED notification is identifiable as a small light that blinks to indicate different info on your phone when the screen is off. Phone manufacturers include an LED notification to make information noticeable to the phone user. The notification light at the top of the phone blinks when the battery is low, or a new message is received. What do these different light colours indicate? Why does it keep blinking? See below, you will find more secrets!
Built-in notification LED of HONOR mobile phones could remind you about battery status and unread messages, supporting red, green, yellow or orange notification lights. Please be aware that some models only support red and green lights.
*Some third-party apps support blue light, which would only displays when those apps push a new message.
Afraid to miss important information when your phone screen is off? Just check the notification light. Battery level can also be learned in a flash.
Blinking red light indicates that the battery percentage is less than 4%, and it needs to be charged as soon as possible.
When the phone is charging, the light turns solid red when the battery is still lower than 10%. You need to continue charging.
*For some models with dual-colour LEDs, the light will be solid red if battery is lower than 90% when charging.
During the charging process, solid yellow or orange light shows that the battery is between 10% and 90%. Please keep on charging.
*Yellow or orange light is only available for models with tri-colour LEDs.
The light turns solid green if battery exceeds 90% when charging, and it turns blinking green when a new message is received.
*When the phone is not charging, a new message will also trigger blinking green light.
Flash notification light is turned off
If the notification light does not blink when the message is received in all cases, it may be because Flash notification light is not enabled.
Please go to Settings, search "Flash notification light”, then turn it on.
If you cannot search out Flash notification light, it means that the phone does not support this function.
The third-party application needs to be updated
If it does not blink when new messages received by some third-party apps, please update these apps to the latest versions.
On a phone call or the screen is on
In these cases, the light does not blink by default.
The phone model does not support this function
Some phones do not have any notification light for better screen displaying effects. You can charge your phone to check whether a light is on to check whether it is supported.
Timely charge your phone and check messages by noticing notification lights.
