HONOR 50, which was a winner in the global market. I have got a bold version of the smartphone, the "HONOR Code". Display & design are like two sides of a coin. Together they make a smartphone different from others. It all started with the designer of the smartphone in the art room. The selection of a display according to consumer demand is appreciable art. Is not it?

The Technology Selection

We all know about the curved display used in recent years. I still remember LG had a smartphone called FLEX. It first used a curved display on any smartphone. Time flew by and, the technology got adopted by manufacturers. HONOR had introduced curved displays with the HONOR 30 series. Later, the technology got applied to HONOR V40. But they were inside the home and, HONOR 50 is the first smartphone with GMS & a curved display on the global stage.

Organic LED (OLED) is manufactured using chelates, an organic material. There's no backlight needed to lighten the screen up.

HONOR has chosen the display to provide users flagship experience. With the overall design of HONOR 50, the curved OLED is the best fit.

The 10-bit Panel

A display can produce a million colours but, a 10-bit panel in output gives the variety of billions of colours. To be technical, the panel provides 1.07 billion colours.

Making a flagship was not only the target by HONOR, but it also concluded with the technology for the long term use and quality. There is VIBGYOR but, the actual radiation of colours from displays can be possible by the 10-bit panel.

Guys, these two are the reasons behind the success of quality flagship displays on HONOR 50. A story can not be possible without a conclusion. Here, the curved OLED is the conclusion of the "HONOR 50" story.
