[DISCUSSION] What Kind Of Movies Do You Like?

Movies are the means of escape from reality, allows you to take a momentary break from life, take you to magic places and cause us to experience different emotions; excitement, joy, sadness, pain, comfort, surprise, nervousness is one reason why we love to * movies. They make us connect with fictional characters we’ve never met before, allow us to empathize with them while we * them struggle, bounce back, and then save the day!

Movies are also a perfect way to improve your current emotional state, whether you just feel like putting on a fun and cheerful animated film to lighten up your mood, or if you need a chuckle just throw on an enjoyable comedy video, Movies always manage to cheer us up and that's another reason we love it.

This weekend I would like to know what kind of movies do you like? but before that let me explain some movie genres to you.

Action - These types of movies are high-octane, big-budget movies that show many physical stunts. If there is heroism, fights involving guns, swords or karate moves, horseback action, or any destructive forces of nature, your keyword is Action. In these movies, it’s usually a fight between the good guys and bad guys.

Adventure - Do you like thrilling stories that take you to wondrous places? They are similar to action films but the action may be less and more weight will be given to experiences.

Comedies - They are loved by young and old for the feel-good content. A comedy can be based on innocent humor, exaggerations, facial expressions, or downright crude jokes.

Horror - You either love them or hate them. These films expose our fears and give rise to nightmares. For some, horror films provide catharsis but others can barely sit through a movie, due to the violence and scary scenes.

Animation - Computer graphics and special effects are the backbones of these films which are enjoyed by the young and old.

Sci-Fi - If you like futuristic scenes, movies like Star Wars will intrigue you. They can be classified as adventure films too.

Among all of the types, I really like Sci-Fi, Adventure, and Action movies the most, and recently I watched the Gemini man on my friend's recommendation and found out it was a great movie.
