After using the HONOR MAGIC EARBUDS and the HONOR CHOICE TWS for an appropriate period, I would like to propose a comparison between the two for those who, perhaps interested in buying, would like to see the main features of both.
PACKAGE
Both packs well cared for, The earbuds even have the magnetic closure of the pack; in the former we find a cable of adequate length (in the Choise it is really too short); and 3 pairs of spare rubber pads (depending on the size), in the others only 2. Important note in the HONOR we find the official guarantee certificate, which does not happen with the others (the products of the Choise line enjoy only the commercial guarantee of the seller).
The case is much better in the EBs, more spartan in the TWS.
DIMENSIONS AND ERGONOMICS
The Earbuds line is much more elongated and captivating, complete with a chrome finish and logo at the end; the TWS are more squat, even if, subjectively speaking, the latter fit better (they also seem more stable in the pavilion). The Touch zone is perfect in both.
For those who use them a lot, the TWS have an exaggerated autonomy, even when stressed a lot they last all day and, perhaps, even longer (probably because they do not have active noise reduction like the EBs that need a certain power supply). Charging times are acceptable in both; the EBs have a dedicated APP that provides detailed information on the charge status of the right and left earpiece separately.
Both headphones can be used individually; only the EBs go into standby mode once removed from the ear.
AUDIO QUALITY
In the call phase they are almost the same, both very good, a bit better and the EBs having the ANC; when listening to the music all the qualities of the EB come out, clearly superior to the TWS (in my opinion, the justification for the price difference between the two lies precisely here); the sound is clear, limpid at any volume, full-bodied bass and - almost - no disturbing noise from the outside. The 10mm driver excels over the 7mm.
PRICE
The EBs are currently, net of any promos, currently around € 60, the TWS about half. EB prices will likely drop in anticipation of the upcoming EB2 release.
