Hello everyone,

what I would like to propose is a comparison between the last two TWS HONOR headphones: the Earbuds2 Lite and the Choice X2 ( .as excellently done by @leunamme )

Two different but very similar products; the first in ear and the second semi in ear; the 2 Lite produced directly by HONOR and the X2 produced on behalf of third parties for HONOR.

PACKING

The classic HONOR care, all well arranged, coherent; in the 2 Lite we also find the Warranty Certificate.

THE CASE

Almost identical in shape and size, in the X Choice the annoying fact that the container does not stand up if placed on a surface has been eliminated, it was enough to make the two ends less circular. Charging for both and type "C".

In the 2Lites there is the HONOR brand on the front.

The door opens and closes without difficulty, but not from that feeling of "eternal life" that I found in the first Earbuds.

SHAPE AND SIZE

The first thing that catches the eye is the lack of silicone rubber pads in the X2, otherwise they are very similar, slightly longer than the 2 Lite. Both fit perfectly, perhaps a little better than the 2 Lite, even if this is subjective.

If used for a long time (I mean more than an hour of use) the X2 "press" too much on the ear and begin to annoy. The probable cause is the lack of something soft to cushion the presence of the foreign body inside the ear cavity. But this too could be subjective as well as a matter of habit; let's see what other Club users will say.

THE SOUND

Here are some differences.

The sound of the 2 Lite is "love at first sight", cleaner, clearer, with full-bodied bass without ever exaggerating in any condition.

The X2 despite having a larger driver (12mm against the 10 of the Lite), have a maximum volume higher by about 20% (among other things without ever distorting), but, in my opinion they lack bass and have some mids not really punchy.

For calls both behave very well, something better than the 2 Lite having an active ANC (as opposed to the X which is only passive).

A comparison in terms of autonomy is still premature, given that I have been using the Xs for about a couple of weeks.

However, so far, it is excellent in both.

MATTER OF APP

Of the two, only the 2 Lite have a dedicated App (AI Life) from which you can set the touch controls, see the charging of each individual headset and above all receive updates.

In the XChoice there is no proximity sensor.

Which one would I recommend?

It obviously depends on the budget and the type of use it will make.

If you are audiophile better the 2 Lite, if you scramble them and use them even in short workouts, saving something you take the X Choice which are a good compromise.
