Huawei continues to expand its quest for independence from the Android world and Google services.

According to what came out of China in the past few hours, Huawei has also launched its AppGallery on the PC platform.

Accessing the AppGallery from a PC provides an optimized interface and classic categories in which to search for different types of applications. Currently, AppGallery for PC is available exclusively in China and only offers the ability to search for apps and then install them on the mobile device synchronized with the personal Huawei account.

AppGallery for PC is divided into five different categories:

Explore, the area where users can find and download popular applications such as WeChat, Tencent Video and many others. Weekly also includes the list of apps to try and those just added;
Office, the section where users can download applications for productivity and work, such as Tencent Conference, Tencent TIM and many others;
Rankings, the area in which the major categories of applications to download are entered;
Management, the section where users can manage the software installed on the PC to update apps or to uninstall them;
Settings.

For the moment it is not known whether it will be disclosed internationally.
