My phone/tablet automatically powers off when I power it on after it runs out of battery and I charge it
| My phone/tablet automatically powers off when I power it on after it runs out of battery and I charge it |
Problem:
After the battery runs out and the phone/tablet is charged, the user presses the Power button to power on the device. The startup screen is displayed, but the phone/tablet then powers off automatically.
Cause:
When your phone's/tablet's battery runs out and you use a non-standard charger or a computer's USB port to charge your phone/tablet, the charging current is too low to support the power consumption required for powering on your phone/tablet. As a result, the phone/tablet may automatically power off after the startup screen is displayed.
Solution:
- Use the charger that came with your phone/tablet for charging. The output power of the this charger complies with the standard value.
- If the battery has completely run out, charge your phone/tablet for five to ten minutes before powering it on.
If the issue persists, back up important data and bring your phone/tablet, charger, cable, and proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.
