Finding photos in our phone gallery can be tricky. There are always some photos which we will need and we won't be getting them easily. Well, EMUI and Magic UI have their own benefits, one such benefit is the Discover feature present in Gallery. Introduction of Discovery feature made photo finding or segregating very simple. Let's quickly see how?
So the very first category in which all photos are divided is the People. We take different photos in our day-to-day life and let suppose I need to find a photo of my friend who has a birthday. What normal users would do is extract all his friend's photo and select the best out of them, now what EMUI and Magic UI users would do is simply move to Gallery - Discover - People and find his friend's face and he will get all his friend's photo at a single place. Just the way I did for @MohitK
. You also get a bonus highlight video created of all photos. Isn't that amazing!!!
In the People section, we have a sub-section for Group photos. Your Gallery segregates group photos based on people in a single frame. Imagine finding your parent's photo in the gallery, scrolling down all the photos, and not getting the perfect one... Well, with this option you can easily find one in a single place. For example, I have selected group photos of my brothers and named it Sinha Brothers.
The next category in the list is Location. We all love to travel, and the more we travel all the photos get mixed up and finding one photo from a particular place can become tough but not when you have the Discover feature. One more added benefit is that you can keep a count on the number of places you have visited.
Photos shot by us not only have faces in them but also have things in them. Recently, @Global_HONOR conducted an Earth Day contest and we had to share beautiful environment photos in that. With Things, we could have easily found out photos related to the environment in our Gallery. Be it Sky, Birthday cake, Sports, Sunset, etc. all are classified under one place.
If all those categories were not enough to make your search for photos easier, Discover has a Search option. Simply put the keyword and get the photos. You can add sub-keywords as I have done in the above photo, I searched for food and added keywords for a specific date and got the result of the Food Photos shot specifically in 2020.
Tell me how do you feel about this feature and have you tried this or not?
**Thank You**
