HONOR: Art & Technology, Inspiring the Future | HONOR and L’École de design Nantes Atlantique Signing Ceremony and 2025 HONOR Talents Europe Regional Briefing Successfully Held

[October 15, Nantes, France] — HONOR’s global youth empowerment initiative made its European campus debut, with the HONOR and L’École de design Nantes Atlantique Signing Ceremony and the “Art & Technology, Inspiring the Future” forum. The ceremony brought together leaders from L’École de design Nantes Atlantique, award judges, and HONOR’s design experts. The program featured keynote addresses from multiple disciplines, offering fresh perspectives on the value of empowering young talent. HONOR’s design team also shared the brand’s UX design philosophy, revealing its distinctive approach to capturing diverse cultural aesthetics through innovation and technology.

An accompanying digital exhibition showcased over 20 award-winning works from past HONOR Talents competitions, spanning graphic and digital art, and representing countries including France, Finland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and China. Together, these works reflected HONOR’s long-standing commitment to fostering global creative exchange and empowering young creators.

More than 50 representatives from the technology, art, and academic sectors attended, engaging in discussions on the future of art–technology integration and emerging trends in nurturing young creative talent. Featured speakers included Christian Guellerin, Executive Director of L’École de design Nantes Atlantique; Pierre Alain Houard, CMO of HONOR France; and Tina Feng, HONOR’s Chief Aesthetics Officer. Anne Brochard, President of L'École de design Nantes Atlantique and Hantao Cui, Director of HONOR French Institute participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Their insights—from the perspectives of education, technology, design, and industry—explored how technology can enable artistic expression and why young people are central to the global creative ecosystem.

In his opening address, Christian Guellerin highlighted that the HONOR exhibition provided students with an immersive experience where technology and culture converge, demonstrating how art and technology can connect people, convey emotions, spark imagination, and enrich lives. He noted that as technology advances, artistic expression becomes more diverse and increasingly capable of driving sustainable social development. Guellerin also announced collaboration between HONOR and the school in 2025, aimed at expanding opportunities in education, practice, and career development while deepening exploration into the fusion of art and technology.

Pierre Alain Houard, CMO of HONOR France, reaffirmed HONOR’s commitment to increasing investment in Europe, with a focus on youth empowerment and innovation-driven growth. Guided by the HONOR Alpha Plan, Houard explained, the company seeks to integrate technology and humanity at a deeper level. “The Alpha Plan is not only HONOR’s new vision—it’s our forward-looking value proposition,” he said. “We harness cutting-edge technology as a driving force, embed humanistic care at the core, and create products that combine leading performance with cultural depth and aesthetic value.” He added that providing young people with platforms to unlock their potential reflects HONOR’s dedication to human values, social responsibility, and sustainable development, and that the Alpha Plan will continue to foster a global ecosystem where technology and humanity coexist, and innovation and warmth go hand in hand.

Tina Feng, HONOR’s Chief Aesthetics Officer, described the event as a significant first step in HONOR and HONOR French Institute’s partnerships with European universities. She expressed her goal of infusing HONOR’s design with international, youthful, and technology-driven originality through academic collaboration. “The fusion of art and technology is a key driver of innovation and collaboration,” she said. “HONOR will continue to expand its global MagicOS partner network to empower young talent, drive innovation, and help create a better future.”

Now in its fifth year, the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards aim to empower young creative minds around the world. Since 2024, the HONOR Talents Europe competition has provided local awards and professional mentorship to students and emerging designers across the continent. Through exhibitions and award ceremonies in France, Finland, and Germany, HONOR has brought industry and academia together under the theme “Art & Technology, Inspiring the Future,” encouraging cross-cultural creative exchange.

In 2025, the inaugural HONOR Alpha Art & Technology Tour concluded in Beijing, bringing together 12 past winners and young pioneers from nine countries—France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, and the Czech Republic. Over 10 days, participants explored the intersection of Chinese technology, art, and culture, building an integrated innovation ecosystem that connects academic theory, hands-on practice, and creative realization. Next year, HONOR will invite winners from across the globe, including Europe, to join the China tour, which will feature visits to HONOR’s headquarters, exchanges with leading Chinese art institutions, and engagement with international organizations.

As a global technology brand, HONOR places sustainability and social responsibility at the heart of its mission. In Europe, the company will continue to contribute locally while expanding its investment in youth empowerment under its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. HONOR welcomes more like-minded partners to join in empowering Europe’s next generation—ensuring that the fusion of technology and humanity continues to inspire innovation and shape a better tomorrow.
