The phone or tablet has a blurry screen

If your phone or tablet has a blurry screen, perform the following steps:

View HD pictures and watch HD videos

If the issue does not persist when you are viewing HD pictures or watching HD videos, it indicates that your phone or tablet screen doesn't have display issues.

Check whether the screen is blurry only with certain third-party apps

If your phone or tablet screen becomes blurry and unclear only in a certain app, please troubleshoot in the following ways:

  • Go to Settings > Display & brightness > Smart Resolution or go to Settings > Display & brightness > Screen resolution, and turn off Smart Resolution. Then, open that app again to see if the screen is still blurry and unclear.

    If Smart resolution is not available, it indicates that your phone or tablet does not support this feature.

  • If the problem is not addressed after turning off Smart Resolution, it may be caused by the app itself. Please uninstall the app and download it again from App Market or use other similar apps.

Increase the screen brightness

In strong light, the screen of your phone or tablet may appear dark. Try increasing the screen brightness if this is the case.

Restart your phone or tablet and try again

Restart your phone or tablet and determine whether the issue is caused by an app error.

If the issue persists

Back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.

The screen parameters may vary by device model. You can compare your device with the same model phone to see if the screen clarity is abnormal.
