My phone heats up during a video call
My phone heats up during a video call |
Problem:
The phone heats up or gets overheated when using functions such as video chats and VoLTE HD calls.
Cause:
During a video call, the camera, screen, speaker, and video data transmission work at the same time. Compared with conducting a single task such as playing videos or listening to music, the heat generated during a video call is significantly higher. This is a normal phenomenon.
Solution:
- Close background apps that are not in use during video calls.
- Avoid making long video calls.
- Lower the screen brightness.
- Make video calls in an environment with a stable Wi-Fi connection or good signal reception. A poor signal reception may also lead to your phone heating up.
