If the no signal icon
appears, please refer to The phone has an unstable signal for troubleshooting.
If the "No card" icon
Is displayed, or only 1 signal icon is displayed after inserting 2 SIM cards, it means the SIM card cannot be identified. Please refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:
Attempt identifying the SIM card again
Restart your phone to allow your phone to attempt identifying the SIM card again.
Check the appearance of the SIM card
- Take out the SIM card and check whether the metal surface of the SIM card is dirty. Clean it if necessary to avoid poor contact.
- If you are using a SIM card cut by yourself and card-reading anomalies or other signal issues often occur, it is likely that the SIM card has been cut into a non-standard shape, resulting in poor contact. In this case, it is recommended that you contact your carrier and replace the SIM card with a new standard one.
Verify the function of the SIM card
If your SIM card still cannot be identified on other working phones, or other working SIM cards can be identified by your phone, chances are that your SIM card is faulty. In this case, it is recommended that you contact your carrier and replace it with a new standard SIM card.
If the issue remains unresolved, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.
