Today 2 new Honor products have been launched in China.

Namely the Honor V40 Lite Luxery edition and a tablet the Honor tab 7 .

Honor tab 7

The Honor Tab 7 has a 10.1-inch Full HD screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 80%.

Furthermore, the screen is certified by TUV Rheinland for eye protection.

To make multitasking easier for the users, the company offers Split Screen support for up to four different applications.

For example, it can be used to listen to lectures, check materials and take notes - all at the same time.

Internally, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, which is a big change from its predecessor ( the Honor Tab 6 ), which was powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC.

The tablet runs out-of-the-box the Android 10 operating system.

Price and availability:

The Wi-Fi version of Honor Pad 7 is available in two variants:

4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 1,399 yuan (~ € 180)

4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 1,699 yuan (~ € 220)

There is also a LTE version coming in

4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 1,599 yuan (~ € 206)

4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 1,899 yuan (~ € 245).

It comes in two colors: blue and black.

The devices will go on sale in China from March 26, with pre-sales starting today itself and the Wi-Fi version going on sale first.

HONOR V40 lite Luxery edition

The Honor V40 Lite Luxery edition, the successor of the Honor V40, has also been launched today.

The device comes with a thin and light design and a curved 3D display.

Honor's new phone is just 7.64mm thick and weighs around 169g.

The display is a 6.57 inch curved OLED panel with a high refresh rate of 90 Hz.

It has a 2340x1080px FHD + resolution. The handset supports 5G networks, with dual card standby and Link Turbo support, allowing the use of WiFi + 5G + 4G for a constant network experience.

For photography, there is a selfie camera with a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.

On the back is a 64 megapixel quad camera setup, combined with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 2 megapixel macro sensor and another 2 megapixel depth of field camera.

Under the hood powers a 3800 mAh battery with support for fast charging from 66 W.

Furthermore, the V40 lite is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor.

The handset runs Android 10 based Magic UI 4.0 out of the box.

Availability and price

The Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition is available in two variants based on the memory configuration.

It is available in an 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM variant for 2,999 yuan (about 387 euros), or can be bought in the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM variant for 3,299 yuan (approximately 426 euros).

The device will officially go on sale on March 26 and will be available in multiple color variants including silver, black, blue and more.

Nothing is known yet about a European or Dutch launch
