Hey HONOR Fans,
As you know the HONOR 9X Pro is due to hit the UK market very soon, but some of you might be wondering how exactly it differs from the Fan favourite 9X! Well hopefully this post will fill you in a bit and make choosing the right one for you a little bit easier :)

From the table above, the most obvious difference is in the processing power and RAM which affects overall performance. The new HONOR 9X PRO has a more powerful processor, the 7nm Kirin 810 chipset, while the HONOR 9X is powered by the Kirin 710F. The Kirin 810 comes with an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The CPU consists of two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.27GHz and six smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.88GHz. Comparing to the Kirin 710, the Kirin 810 gets a graphics performance boost of 162%.
Another big difference is storage. Both the HONOR 9X PRO and the HONOR 9X can have up to 6GB RAM. But the HONOR 9X PRO has 256GB ROM, which is much larger than the HONOR 9X (128GB).
With the Kirin 810 and 256GB ROM, undoubtedly the HONOR 9X PRO has a better performance, this is in addition to all of the great features of the 9X, such as the 4,000 mAh battery which can definitely last a whole day for most users.
As for the camera, the HONOR 9X PRO has a 48MP main lens with f/1.8 aperture and a large 1/2 inch sensor. It also comes with an 8MP super-wide-angle camera as well as a 2MP depth assist camera.
What about looks? We've got our hands on a Phantom Purple 9X PRO and decided to line it up next to the Sapphire Blue 9X.

Neither phone fails in the looks department we think you'll agree. Though the 9X Pro is different in that the fingerprint sensor is integrated into the side panel, while on the 9X it is on the back. You can see the difference in the sides of the phones here:
For now, the HONOR 9X PRO is sold at the price of EUR 249 and the HONOR 9X is priced at EUR 229 so we can expect something similar in the UK when it lands.
So what do you think? Would you upgrade to the 9X Pro?
