[Honor 9X] Initial impressions of the Sapphire Blue 9X

Hey Everyone!
So, its been 3 weeks now since I got the Honor 9X and simply put I have been really satisfied with the device so far. From it’s clean and modern design, fast performance and the high-quality camera (which I wrote about last week), the 9X has given me everything that I wanted from a new phone. Available in the UK, the device also offers brilliant value for money with a price that is low compared to its specifications and performance. So what caught my eye?
Contemporary clean aesthetics
I have always had a soft spot for the sleek and fresh designs of Honor phones and the 9X is no exception, in fact, it’s my favourite so far. From its 6.59” full view display to the smooth shimmering back panel, the phone doesn’t just look good but it feels great to use too. Since blue is my favourite colour, choosing the Sapphire Blue colour-way was an easy choice and I prefer the glimmering X effect that appears on this style too. The Full view display is equally smart. Offering an immersive high-resolution screen that almost fully covers the facade of the phone makes the 9X a perfect companion for enjoying *, playing games and reading books.
Capture moments with ease
A hugely important feature for me when considering a new phone are its photographic capabilities. And the 9X has lots to be excited about when it comes to this. At its rear, the 9X has 3 cameras all neatly arranged that offer you 3 unique modes of photographs. These are; a 2MP Depth-Assist Camera, a 48MP Main camera and a 8MP super wide angle camera that is exceptional when shooting landscapes. These cameras are complimented by a really neat and innovative 16MP Pop-up camera at the front of the device. Want to take a selfie? No problem, as the camera pops-up within a second and automatically retracts when your done capturing the moment. Personally, I think this hideaway camera is a great touch and really adds to the minimalistic design features of the phone.

Productive performance
Is there anything more annoying then having a device that always seems to have no battery? When it comes to a phone I think not! The Honor 9X has a 4,000mAh battery meaning that you will never encounter the issue of your phone dying on you halfway through your day. What I have so far noticed is that with heavy use through playing games and * music, the battery will last a full day with ease. On days where my activity was low, the battery lasted for over 2 days.
From aesthetics, to performance to its many cameras the 9X has given me the experience that I set out to initially find - a solid all-round device. And with a price of 249.99 GBP what is there not to love?
