In case Password Vault data cannot be cloned, troubleshoot as follows:
1. Please verify that both devices are HONOR products.
Password Vault Only cloning between HONOR devices is supported.
Password Vault data are highly sensitive. To guarantee the security of Password Vault data, cloning of such data between an HONOR device and a competitor device is not supported.
2. Please verify that the old and new devices are both Chinese mainland models or both international models.
Password Vault Only cloning between Chinese devices or between overseas devices is supported.
3. Please check whether the old device has a Lock screen password
Tap on the old device, and check for Lock screen password. If there is no Lock screen password, set one, and try again.
4. Please check whether the old device has Password Vault data.
Enter to check for account password data. If there is no such data, cloning will not implemented.
5. During cloning, please check whether the old device has a Password Vault option.
If you select apps in the cloning interface of the old device, enter the "System Settings" to check for Password Vault If this option is found but cannot be selected (grayed out), cloning is not supported. If this option does not exist, you are advised to feed back this problem to HONOR by dialing its hotline.
6. After cloning, check whether the Password Vault data are copied to the new device successfully.
After cloning, check the system settings of the new device to see whether Password Vault is cloned successfully.
If the cloning fails, try again. If this problem persists, you are advised to feed it back to HONOR by dialing its hotline.
If the cloning succeeds, enter Password Vault to check for account password data. If such data do not exist, you are advised to feed this problem back to HONOR by dialing its hotline.
