Why GPS is not working on my Honor magic watch 2?

Hi,
I have severe issues with GPS and my watch. It rarely succeeds in locking.
I have followed all instructions for Health app and all location permission are granted.
Even when in Health app, in excercises tab where it shows a small google maps map, the GPS is green and locked, watch again fails to get a GPS signal.
Restarting and resting watch doesnt help.
I have only managed to make it work 3 times.
Read many posts complaing that during summer firmware update, many people have the same issues with GPS but I have not found a solution.
Can someone help me on this, it is a crucial feature for this kind of smartwatch.
