On October 14, HONOR officially announced that HONOR MagicOS 9.0 will make its debut on October 23, while the new annual flagship HONOR Magic7 series will be launched on October 30. On October 12, at the China Mobile Global Partner Conference, HONOR Device Co., Ltd. CEO Zhao Ming delivered a keynote speech titled "Building an Open Ecosystem for Intelligent Connectivity and Co-creating the AI+ Era." In his speech, Zhao Ming shared HONOR latest technological achievements in edge-side AI and announced that HONOR AI intelligent agent will be interconnected with China Mobile's Lingxi AI intelligent agent, marking the first cooperation in the industry. This partnership will be implemented in the upcoming annual flagship product, the HONOR Magic7 series.

Honor has been deeply involved in edge-side AI for many years, while China Mobile has its self-developed Jiutian large model as a technological foundation. The HONOR AI intelligent agent, unveiled at IFA in September, is an open ecosystem agent across applications. It possesses four core capabilities: natural semantic understanding and computer vision, learning user behavior habits and scene awareness, intent recognition and decision-making, as well as in-app and cross-app operations, providing personalized services to users. On the other hand, China Mobile’s Lingxi is an intelligent agent built on its Jiutian large model, offering users a multimodal interaction experience involving voice, text, and images.
The interconnection between these two intelligent agents brings a revolutionary user experience. For instance, HONOR phone users only need to wake up YOYO and give a command in one sentence, and YOYO will collaborate with Lingxi to check the balance and recharge the account through the China Mobile App.
Zhao Ming stated, "In the future, HONOR and China Mobile will continue to innovate together to create a leading customer experience, not only in the field of telecommunications but also in various internet applications and the cooperation between multimodal intelligent agents.

HONOR AI intelligent agent is actively exploring the direction of enabling "autonomous driving" for smartphones. For example, Zhao Ming demonstrated the "one-click disable auto-renewal for apps" feature at the conference. After being activated by a wake-up command, the HONOR AI Agent listens to the instruction "please disable the auto-renewal feature for apps" and then automatically finds all services with auto-renewal and asks the user if they wish to cancel them. This is a highly practical AI application, allowing the Honor AI Agent to simplify user operations to the greatest extent. Users can simply give a one-sentence command based on their intent, and the task is completed with a single click.
In addition to the one-click disabling of auto-renewals, the Honor AI Agent also supports other groundbreaking experiences like one-click ordering of drinks, one-click travel planning, and ticket booking. Zhao Ming stated, "In the future, this kind of experience, similar to autonomous driving, will be realized in many applications in the new era of AI intelligent agents."

In his speech, Zhao Ming also shared HONOR AI four-layer strategic architecture and demonstrated the innovative experience of reconstructing the MagicOS operating system using AI. One of the core technologies of the MagicOS system is MagicRing. Through the MagicRing trust ring technology, seamless collaboration can be achieved across devices and operating systems, allowing multiple types of terminals to be "packaged" into a unified super terminal. "In the AI era, different devices can be unified into a single terminal with the help of AI technology, which we call 'One device.' With this concept, AI+ and 5G+ can be integrated together.

He gave an example where a user with a laptop, in scenarios such as a high-speed train or a café, often needs to set up a hotspot or find public WiFi to access the internet. Now, through HONOR MagicRing, cross-device integration (One device) allows the phone's mobile data to be freely accessed: without any additional steps, the user can simply enter a URL in the laptop's browser to immediately go online.

Similarly, using the MagicRing, the laptop can also utilize the smartphone’s imaging capabilities, AI anti-fraud, or AI photo erasure features. Zhao Ming emphasized, “In the AI era, merging multiple devices to work as one makes them incredibly powerful.”
