It has been a year since I wrote the Honor 8C review. You can check it out here: The Honor 8C review (https://iforum-sg.c.hihonor.com/my/topic/18082/detail.htm)
With MCO (Movement Control Order) currently enforced in Malaysia, many have found themselves in need of a cheap but good device.
Well… Enter the Honor 8C.
The size and weight of the phone is really suitable for everyone, from children to senior citizens. It is not too big and not too heavy. It a 6.26” HD display (720p) screen, it is not too small too.
There has been a few minor software updates over the years, but sadly, the Honor 8C is still on EMUI 8.2, which is based on Android 8.1. But this is not necessarily a bad thing. For one, you still get the ability to toggle AI on/ off from the Gallery apps. There is also the double-tap on screen to wake the phone.
In the last few weeks, I have been using the phone to attend Zoom meetings, complete online learning, watch movies and play games. It is really great that the phone still have a 3.5mm jack as it makes it easier to attend meetings. Almost everyone would have a spare wired earphone in the house. ?
So, if you are thinking of getting a cheap and good phone, you might want to consider the Honor 8C.
I know many are asking this about Honor phones -- Yes, it comes with Google Play!
Just thought to share some photos taken today with the Honor 8C...
