我的荣耀 开启荣耀之旅

It’s always worrying when you invest in a phone and a phone manufacturer doesn’t chunk in the time and effort to keep their line-up of phones updated but HONOR Malaysia is keeping to their customer-centric approach and are rolling out a series of updates for existing HONOR phones that will update them all to the spanking new EMUI 9.0 user interface in the coming weeks.
In terms of updates, the EMUI 9.0 user interface makes things more intuitive, consistent and simpler to get about. The user interface has less clutter with each function categorised for consistency while alarms have been updated to make them less acoustically intrusive. Other new enhancements include gesture based navigation that don’t already have off-screen gesture navigation functionality.
In more practical terms, the EMUI 9.0 update enhances system operation by about 12.9 percent compared to its predecessor EMUI 8.0 and their GPU Turbo function has several new games added – Vainglory, Arena of Valor, Rules of Survival and NBA 2K18. The update also enhances image recognition for the AI and allows phones to recognise 1,500 scenes versus the original 500 as well as the ability to recognise over 400 famous European landmarks and paintings if you need a virtual tourguide when jaunting around Europe.

According to HONOR Malaysia, the Honor View 10, Honor 10 and Honor Playwill be in the first wave of phones in current service to get the EMUI 9.0 updated pushed to them via an over the air update.
The Honor View 10 is the first to get the update and has been pushed to users starting 13 December 2018. For the Honor 10, the update will start arriving on Wednesday or Thursday next week on 19 – 20 December 2018. The Honor Play will be arriving sometime this December. These updates will occur in batches so if you haven’t gotten it on your Honor View 10, Honor 10 or Honor Play, just hold your horses as it’ll arrive give or take a few days.
