我的荣耀 开启荣耀之旅

I've just received my new Magicbook Pro and am delighted with it, but almost immediately discovered a serious security issue.
If you click the PC Manager icon on the taskbar, you'll see a pop-up that has three main tabs - Notifications, Documents and Clipboard. If, like me, you use a password manager app, you'll probably be reliant on copy & paste to insert passwords without ever revealing them to prying eyes. Unfortunately, the PC Manager Clipboard tab displays your 50 most recent clipboard items, including all the passwords you've used in plain text. This is an unbelievable oversight by Honor, and they told me that the only solution was to completely uninstall PC Manager - not something I wanted to do as it ensures that drivers etc. can be kept up to date.
But, by happy chance, I found that Huawei's version of PC Manager offers all the facilities of Honor's version but, crucially, it has an additional setting specifically to disable clipboard monitoring. Yes, anyone using the laptop can re-enable clipboard monitoring, but it only starts logging future activity and doesn't show any previous cut/copy actions.
I'd urge everyone using this machine to uninstall Honor's PC Manager and replace it with the Huawei equivalent. Here's a link... https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/pc-manager/
