[FAQ] Honor Band 5 Frequently Asked Questions You Should Know

Today My post will be all about FAQ's of Honor Band 5 which was launch in few month. These Questions are collected mainly from various social platforms and also from Honor club. I have tried my best to answer them, Hope you like it.

Q 2) Honor Band 5 is available in how many colours?
Honor Band 5 is available in Midnight Navy, Meteorite Black & coral Pink colours respectively.

Q 3) Can I exchange my older Band with Honor Band 5?
No, currently there is no exchange offer available to upgrade to Honor Band 5 in any store or online shopping.

Q 4) What is the Battery capacity of Band 5?
Battery is inbuilt and capacity is 100 mAh.

Q 5) How can I charge Honor Band 5 and How much time it will take to charge from 0 - 100% ?
Honor Band 5 comes with charging Dock (available in retail box).
You need to attach the same at the back of the Band and plug USB cable (available in retail box) to the charger. Attach the cable to your device charger to charge.
Total charging time is between 60 and 75 minutes.

Q 6) What are the compatible devices?
All Android & iOS devices are compatible with Honor Band 5.

Q 7) What material is used in Honor Band 5? How is the screen Quality?
The strap is made up of Silicone and it is textured with Punch IN mechanism to wear on our hands. There is 0.95 inch touch screen with AMOLED colour display.

Q 8) Does it have GPS?
No, GPS is not available. Heart Rate Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope sensors are present.

Q 9) What are the Current Features present in Honor Band 5 ?
Current Firmware is 1.1.0.74 and here are the features present at the moment:
Call Notifications,
Text Message notifications,
Step Counter,
Heart rate monitor,
Sleep Tracking,
Different sports workout support ( Outdoor & Indoor run, Outdoor & Indoor Walk, Outdoor &indoor Cycle, Elliptical, Rower, pool Swim, Free training).
Other features include:
Timer, StopWatch, inbuilt watch faces, Find Phone, Brightness control, Alarm, Battery & system Information.

Q 10) How much is the battery backup?
Battery backup is depend on various factors. Maximum backup is expected to be of 14 Days if it is used for minimal activities. Depend on our use and live monitoring of heart rate and TruSleep activities, battery life will decrease accordingly.

Q 11) How to SYNC and collect Band 5 data in my device?
Pair the Honor Band 5 to the device wirelessly via blue tooth to monitor your health record.
We need to download latest version of Health App from Google Play Store that Syncs and transfers data from band. Then you can analyze your exercise details per day/week/month/year in the App.

Q 12) Warranty of the device is limited to? Can we use it in rains and in water?
Honor Band 5 warranty is 1 Year from the date of purchase. It is water resistant up to 50 meters so we can use in contact with water. It s recommended to clean the band with dry cloth after using it for activities like swimming which may contain salt and chlorine to avoid any damage to outer body due to this chemicals.
