Welcome to Magic UI Focus, a brand-new series from HONOR Club, that as you might have guessed, takes a thorough look at the Magic UI. For our very first episode, we're going to introduce you to some of the exciting new features in the most recent version of Magic UI.
Ø What is Magic UI?
The Magic UI system is the platform that is specially designed for HONOR products, based originally on the EMUI OS for Huawei. It was first introduced in October 2018, at the HONOR Magic 2 launch event in China, when Magic UI 2.0 was unveiled.
Magic UI is a next-generation system, which integrates advanced AI-powered capabilities with a stylish interface. You can think of it like a window into the future, through an aesthetic filter.
Ø What is the latest version of Magic UI?
At the time of this article, the latest version is Magic UI 2.1.
Ø What can I look forward to in Magic 2.1?
² Faster startup and smoother app operations
² Sparkling new EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) that improves flash memory reading and writing performance by 20% on average
² Upgraded GPU Turbo 3.0, a cutting-edge graphics processing acceleration technology that is already compatible with more than 30 of the most popular games on the market
² Huawei Share OneHop, allowing for seamless file transfer between Huawei MateBook models, and HONOR or Huawei flagship phones, with just a single tap
