FAQ 1. What should we do if water has entered in the phone?
If water has entered your device, take the following steps:
Immediate actions:
Further actions:
If the liquid that has entered the Phone is coffee, cola, milk, or sea water, take your device to a Huawei service center for assistance.
If tap water or pure water has entered the device, shake the device gently to drain the water out. Then use a fan or hair dryer (on a cool setting) to dry your device. Take your device and proof of purchase to a Huawei service center for assistance as soon as possible.
Notes:
Some devices will power on normally after the above steps have been taken. However, water inside the device can still cause damage to the many delicate components the device contains. You are advised not to power on the device. After taking the above actions, take your device and proof of purchase to a Huawei service center for assistance.

FAQ 3. What should we do if fingerprint doesn't work?
Problem:
You are prompted to enter your password when unlocking your device with a fingerprint.
Cause:
To prevent you from forgetting your lock screen password, you will be asked to enter your lock screen password every 3 days. If your Phone has not been restarted for 3 days and you have been using your fingerprint to unlock the device during this time, you will be required to use your lock screen password to unlock the device. After this, you can continue to use your fingerprint.
If you have forgotten your lock screen password, you will need to reset your Phone to clear the password. Press and hold the volume up and power buttons when no USB cable is inserted. When the startup screen appears, release the power button. Release the volume up button after 3 seconds to enter recovery mode. In recovery mode, you can restore factory settings and restart your device.
FAQ 4. What should we do if we cannot connect to the internet over wifi or the internet is slow?
If you are having issues accessing the Internet over Wi-Fi, please try the following:
If none of your apps can connect to the Internet or the Internet is slow
If certain apps cannot connect to the Internet or the Internet is slow, or only certain websites cannot be accessed
If you cannot connect to the Internet after connecting to a company network or the Internet is slow
FAQ 5. Why can't WiFi be enabled?
If you experience problems enabling Wi-Fi on your device, try the following:
Go to Settings > System > Reset > Network settings reset, and toggle on the Network settings reset switch to enable Wi-Fi.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to a Huawei service center for assistance.
FAQ 6. Why does your phone heat up even when you are not using it.?
Your device may heat up if power-intensive apps are running in the background, or if the screen stays on for an extended period of time. Try the following:
Close background apps and check whether the device still heats up.
If you are using the virtual navigation bar, touch the recent tasks key and then touch to close background apps. If your device has a front navigation key, slide your finger horizontally across the key to display recent tasks, and then touch to close background apps.
