My computer cannot connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network

Cause

There may be multiple 2.4 GHz wireless signal sources nearby, causing interference with the network you are trying to connect to.

Solution

Disable Bluetooth on your computer and try connecting to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network again. Re-enable Bluetooth once you have connected to the Wi-Fi network successfully.
Try connecting to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Relocate or power off nearby mobile devices which may be causing the interference.
