There may be apps running in the background. After using Fingerprint unlock, the system needs to load the home screen and other system processes. This may make it seem like Fingerprint unlock is slow. Close all background apps, then restart your computer and try again.

The fingerprint sensor may also wear over time, affecting fingerprint recognition rates and resulting in more unlocking attempts.

To improve your unlocking rates, try recording as much detail as possible during the fingerprint enrollment process and avoid entering the same area of your fingerprint repeatedly in order to generate a clear and consistent fingerprint image.
